Chapter 2:
Castle Remains
“Congratulations, you saved yourself,” says Phly sarcastically. “You got yourself a good team, and you battled pretty well. To be fair, I don’t really have all that much to work with, but that is no excuse. For your troubles, let me give you the Tilt badge.”
Phlygone digs through his pockets, and hands you a slanted line with two balls at the end. “In this world, badges mean respect. If you show that to someone else in the wastelands, they will know not to mess with you. I’m not sure how well this holds up elsewhere, but it might be worth a shot to flash that if you ever get into trouble again.”
You nod. This whole day has been very strange. In fact, during your battle, it felt like something was looking at you. You look around, but see nothing.
You feel a tap on your back. You turn around startled, and see an extreme man in a trenchcoat. He salutes you, and mutters “It’s time.” Phlygone smiles awkwardly at the man, and begins to walk away.
“I know you don’t know who I am. That was prophesied as well. I’m Abhi. the 4th Prophet of Porygon. Come here please”
Confused, you walk up to Abhi. He suddenly presses his fingers against your temple. You receive a vision.
There were many different regions of this world, split up into areas based on the power of the Pokemon that lived there.
It was a time of peace and happiness, with every pokemon having a chance to be used.
Porygon ruled over this land, moderating each area. However, he could not rule by himself, so he appointed 4 of the best trainers to work for him.
Suddenly, the vision turns dark and scary. The world is Tilted. Regions fall into disarray, and Pokemon are spread across the world.
It shows the unhappiness of everyone, people and Pokemon alike.
The vision then ends, and Abhi says, “You are the one chosen to revive this world. Take this journal and fulfill the prophecy.”
You take journal, and take a look. There are jumbles of letters and numbers, essentially gibberish.
On the first page you find a map.
You see that there seems to be a region fortified by a castle close by. You are about to ask Abhi what that is.
Abhi is nowhere to be seen.
Maybe this castle will land you another badge? You set off in that direction.
After a long walk, you see the castle - but it looks nothing like the one in the map. It seems to have been completely obliterated by the Great Tilt. You walk up to what is left of the castle quizzically.
“Hand’s up, don’t move!” you hear from behind you. You slowly put your hands up.
“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have no right to an attorney unless you swear loyalty to our one true savior Murkrow. If you do not swear loyalty, we will just kill you instead.”
They handcuff you, and bring you to the castle. There seems to be a small door that leads underground, and sure enough, your *sheriff person* opens it up, and forces you down.”
“It would seem we have an intruder on our sacred lands, we can’t have that now can we?” says the figure, who seems to be the leader of your captors. “I would introduce myself but that would just be a waste of time.”
“For you see soon you shall remember none of this. Soon you shall be like the rest of us, worshipping the true savior: Murkrow.”
Phlygone digs through his pockets, and hands you a slanted line with two balls at the end. “In this world, badges mean respect.
